Co-Buy Housing Network
About
In July of 2024, Thurston ABC launched a new exploratory program to connect Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and LGBTQIA2S+ people to explore the co-buying process.
What is Co-Buying?
Co-buying is where two or more individuals or groups purchase a home or land together. Co-buyers share the financial responsibility of homeownership as well as the financial equity gained from it. This is a non-traditional method of purchasing property that can make homeownership more accessible to people with limited incomes or who have been financially disadvantaged.

Who Can Join?
Anyone can join, but we center this network around BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA2S+ people. We focus our support for those living in and searching for property in the South Sound.

Support We Offer
We offer monthly educational and community connection opportunities for network members that support them with the co-buying and co-ownership process. These offerings are free to members.
